Home Security Systems VS The Guardian Angle Lock

What Is The Difference Between Home Security Systems and The Guardian Angle Lock?

There are a few things to consider when trying to figure out how to keep those you love and your belongings inside your home safe. Due to the world we live in, pretty much all front doors come with a Deadbolt lock and the smaller twist lock on the handle. Still, many people have come to know and understand that these are not the only options in adding security and thus, safety, to their home. Enter, the Security System.

What Is The Flaw In Home Security Systems and Alarms?

Home Alarm Systems do a great job of helping to prevent a home invasion. A home security sticker in the window of your home does a lot to keep out the bad guys. However, theses systems do have flaws that should be considered.

One Major Flaw: They Don’t Actually Keep The Bad Guys Out

The word ‘Security’ offers to our idea of safety so when we think ‘Home SECURITY system’ we think, “my home is safe”. It’s true and as stated before, these systems do add a measure of security to your home but, that security is still shorthanded.

Many if not all of these systems do not actually keep burglars or bad meaning people OUT of your home. Yes, they act as a deterrent and they do alert the officials if someone does enter your home (if the alarm is set which, we often forget to do) but they really don’t add much of anything else besides that. The truth of the matter is, if someone is set on getting into your home, they will find a way in. For Example, picture this scene:

A man has scoped out your neighborhood and even though he knows you have a home security system, he knows he can get in and out in enough time to evade the police. He also knows that the woman of the house is usually home alone during the day and she doesn’t pose much of a threat to him.

He goes up, knocks on the door under the guise of delivering a package and the woman turns off the security alarm to go ahead and open the door without setting it off. Knowing his is now in the clear, he pushes his way in and goes about his doing what you he set out to do…

It’s kind of a scary thought but this is something that can and no doubt has happened.

The other issue with these systems is that you usually have to pay a monthly fee for the added protection. It can be costly and it’s one reason why many people unfortunately opt out of them.

Guardian Angle Lock Offers Something Home Security Systems Don’t

Screen Shot 2013-01-23 at 1.56.03 PMThe truth is that most home invasions happen through the front and side door. What does that tell us? The doors of our homes are easily compromised. Thieves look for the easy route in and doors are that easy route. As we’ve just covered, security systems don’t keep someone from busting in your door. How is the Guardian Angle Lock different?

The Guardian Angle Lock is installed at the base of your door and into the floor just inside the doorway. (see picture to the left) Simply install, drop the pin in place and your door becomes virtually impregnable.

Unlike other door locks that may be similar to our design, our lock comes with two viewing postions, one of which allows you the ability to open your door without sacrificing you safety. And unlike home security systems, you dont have to pay a monthly fee for you and your homes protection.

With the Guardian Angle Lock you get, one lock (or however many you want), one payment, one decision you wont regret. Pick up your very own lock today!
